The Schooner Ship — Framed 12 x 12
The Dunbrody Schooner Ship
Hand-Carved Fine Art Glass
The Dunbrody was a three-masted barque that was originally built as a cargo ship for the Graves family in the mid 1800's. The ship was converted to a passenger vessel that carried thousands of Irish immigrants to North America between 1845 - 1851.
In 1996 construction of a Dunbrody replica began, and the ship was officially launched in 2001. The Dunbrody Ship is moored at the quayside in the town of New Ross, in County Wexford, and can be toured year round.
This Healy Glass Artistry version of the historic tall ship is carved into the glass in a beautiful nighttime scene, and finished in silver with our Healy Signature sparkling crystals along the bow and side of the ship.
Our fine art glass carvings have an exceptional, hand-crafted finish you will be proud to give or to own. The artwork is carved deeply into the surface of the glass so one can feel and appreciate the multi-dimensional effect. Crafted by Master Glass Artisan Billy Healy with intricate details, polished, and hand-embellished with our signature multicolored crystals; each piece is different from the next and has its own unique finish.
All frames come packaged with care, complete with brackets for hanging, and include an about the artist card.
