The Dunbrody Schooner Ship in an 12" x 12" Frame
The Dunbrody was a three-masted barque that was originally built as a cargo ship for the Graves family in the mid 1800's. The ship was converted to a passenger vessel that carried thousands of Irish immigrants to North America between 1845 - 1851.
In 1996 construction of a Dunbrody replica began, and the ship was officially launched in 2001. The Dunbrody Ship is moored at the quayside in the town of New Ross, in County Wexford and can be toured year round.
Our version of the Dunbrody is carved into the glass in a beautiful nighttime scene, and finished in silver with our Healy Signature sparkling green crystals along the bow and side of the ship.
Each one of our designs comes complete with an artist's bio card.
